Photoinitiator

RRPFR0230

Photoinitiator (abbreviated as PI) is a key component of light-curing materials, which plays a decisive role in the light-curing speed of light-curing materials. Photoinitiator is a kind of substance that can absorb radiation energy and undergo photochemical changes through excitation to produce active intermediates (free radicals or cations) with the ability to initiate polymerization. Photoinitiators can be categorized into ultraviolet photoinitiators (absorbing ultraviolet light in the region of 250-420nm) and visible photoinitiators (absorbing visible light in the region of 400-700nm) due to the attraction of different radiation energy.
